I have a 50GB windows partition on my Mac Pro, its been running fine for months but ive started having problems with it gobbling up my hard drive space seemingly randomly.

this started on wednesday when windows popped up telling me i had no disk space left. this confused me as the last time i checked i had something 20GB of free space and i havnt installed anything in the mean time.I deleted some stuff but on thursday it happened again

I cleaned some stuff out and all seemed well. however on the friday it did the same again, so again i cleaned about 20GB of games out. After i did this i checked the disk properties and although id just supposidly deleted 20+ GB's of data it said i only had 6GB free. :/

Cue today and that 6Gb is told me that was free has vanished again, pop up tell me im low on space, i check and have 34mb left. Seconds later another pop up shows up and now i have 0 bytes.

So now im down to *** should be about 10GB's of stuff actually installed on the disk and yet its telling me its full, and no matter what i delete it just eats it up again in a matter of hours.

Help :X

problem solved ;)

turns out it wasnt a small animal eating my disk space but fraps.

for some reason it was endlessy taking screenshots, i had 41 GB's of bitmaps which worked out at just over 25,000 screenshots that basically documents an entire week of my computer life like a flip book.

Dont quite understand why it did that as i didnt even have a key setup to take screenshots but nvm ;)
