Bootcamping my Macbook with Windows 8

Hey guys, just a few questions regarding installing windows 8 on my macbook.

I'll be going for the upgrade version of windows 8, so i'll be using an old windows vista installation as a base to upgrade from.

I've already upgraded my desktop from the same vista cd, and i'm wondering if i can use the same vista cd for bootcamping, or if the vista cd-key has been locked to my desktop windows 8 installation?

I'll be looking to get the upgrade offer, which i hope is still £25 from microsoft directly, so i'll just use the key they give me, as i already have a windows 8 cd bought from retail.

I hope you guys understand my question, if not i'll try and explain it a better.

Upgrades require a qualifying pre-existing license, and that license is replaced under the terms and conditions when you choose to upgrade it.

Ah ok i see, I'll see if i can find an old xp disk lying around then.

If you tried upgrading the Vista license again it might go through, but it's not technically legit.
