I am getting hal.dll & ntoskml.exe errors that BSOD, particularly, after software updates that require a reboot. PC runs 100% stable for weeks.
Q9550 @ 445MHz x 8,5 = 3782 volts 1.30625 but now 1.3125
Mobo ASUS P5Q-E
BSOD happens as desktop is loading or about to finish loading.
Sometimes a 2nd or 3rd reboots works OK other times just get into a negative loop so have to drop overclock to 8.5 x 400. then boots no problem.
I suspect it is a voltage issue with something
CPU GTL 0/2 & 1/3 are on auto did try 0.675 & 0.680 but BSOD
CPU pll 1.52v
FSB termination 1.38
DRAM 2.1
NB 1.38
GTL reference now 0.66 up from 0.655
SB 1.1v
Loadline calibration = enabled
CPU spread = disabled
PCIE spread = disabled
CPU enhancement = performance
Got these setting or close to them for a 4.2GHz o/c
[CPU was set to 1.3675 so that why I'm lower]
Did have hal.dll error before but changed to new boot drive & error went away at 3.4GHz o/c
Any help or suggestions welcomed, thanks.
