Behind you... Naked!
Not sure about this being in Networking, or here, so move if need be.

Basically, my thoughts are simply whether I can use a NAS to install my Windows PCs from?

Erm, I am moving my PCs to Win7/64 and by December I should have finished, but, I do NOT have a Server Licence that will allow me to install Win7

I do however have Server licences for Win2000 ( Bit old now I know, but if it will let me play about for a bit, then thats fine ) and I have obviously a few CLient licences, and similarly I have Server 2003-64Bit with 3 Client licences, plus I have XP64 normal licences too!

So, I am wondering... Can I somehow setup the NAS to let me install over a network, Windows 2000, XP, or XP64?

Also, expanding on this, I am wondering, does it actually need a Server to do it, and if so, then I should be able to simply use the Win7 licences shouldnt I?

Im probably farting into the wind here, but if anyone can offer anything or simply tell me that its not possible then so be it.

The NAS I have is an ICYBOX 4220-B v1.2 ( Please dont laugh... Its painful enough as it is, I just want to try to justify buying the sodding thing - Even worse I got 2 - hows that for masochistic? )

Thanks.
