Q6600 & Asus Blitz P35 mobo.
Ok, last night i shutdown my pc as per normal. Tonight came home from work, had dinner, tried to fire up pc. Nothing, black screen, not posting. Stupid thing sticking on DRAM check. It does this when bios resets for whatever reason and forces me to remove one stick of ram to get into bios and change dram voltage back to 2.1v so it can handle all 4 sticks.
So since i've done it a few times before I did just that.
3 sticks in.. posts first time @ stock as suspected, so im sitting tapping del to get into bios...hmmm.. nothing happening.. bios is still telling me it's "initializing USB controlers"
I then notice that they keyboard is totally dark, so no power/signal to keyboard. It appears there's infact no power going to any of the 6 usb ports on the rear.
I've tried unplugging all usb devices, psu 24pin lead, resetting cmos, taking out battery (never had anything plugged into usb headers on motherboard in the first place)
Any idea's? everything else seems to have powered up, i'm sitting looking at the bios screen now still telling me its trying to initialise the USB controllers, and my LCD poster screen is telling me "USBFINAL"

Any help would be appreciated
thanks.

After a considerable amount of googling everyone elses problem seems to go away when they remove usb devices. Mine are all out, no keyboard or nothing. I've even tried to get into bios with a ps2 keyboard. When i first power up the PC all the keyboard lights flash but after that nothing... And pressing either del / f8 / or alt+f2 makes any difference

Thanks for the ideas, tried a different PSU to no avail, so I just took the whole mobo out... dear oh dear water everywhere! lol
Ordered an Asus Rampage II P45 mobo to replace it and a Sammy 64GB SSD since i'll have to do a reinstall anyway.
OCUK You lost my business there, due to your poor selection of S775 boards!!
