I'm having a problem with my computer not booting. I moved house at the weekend and set my computer up last night. I had a bit of a problem booting it last night but after a bit of playing it started fine. However, I went to start it up today and it only posted as far as the CPU and no further.

So I made sure everything was seated properly, reset the CMOS and now while it boots slightly further it now doesn't see either of my hard drives that are connected via sata. I get the following message

'detecting IDE drives .....traffic. WDC WD740GD00FLA0 21.08U21 and then some funny symbols after it.

Now that is obviosly my hard drive, but I don't understand why it's not being picked up under the SATA drives, and why it is on reference to the IDE drive?

The motherboard is a DFI nf4.

Any ideas?!
