I'm no Linux expert but I do have a nice installation of Ubuntu that I use from time to time.
In runs on a seperate disk drive and it took me ages to get right - as I said I'm no expert so I had to Google every change\fix I wanted to do and in the most part applied them without real understanding.
It boots from GRUB on my main Windows disk.
The challenge for me is that I have a hardware and operating system change to do and therefore the main disk will be reformatted and the GRUB installation lost.
Once I have installed Windows 7 I won't be able to boot Ubuntu with my limited knowledge.
Before I start is there any way that I can create a Boot CD or USB Disk - I don't have a floppy.
Someone suggested SuperGrub which I have downloaded and burnt to a bootable ISO but I must confess that I don't have a clue what I'm meant to do with it so I'm not sure that is really the answer.
Appreciate some help and suggestions.
Cheers,
Nigel
