Hey there, iv got a pretty strange problem, when ever my room is cold which it is most of the time when I come into my room and theres been no electrical equipment on all day, or in the morning its around 15c in my room. some times after the bios screen before the windows loading screen, my pc shuts off then restarts, sometimes rarely but it happens twice. but if iv been in my room for a while had my plasma tv on for a while or I put my radiator on, my room is around 20c, which is the temperature my room gets to when my pc is on for a hour or so and my pc starts first time at this temperature always even if its the first time of powering it up in that day at 20c it boots fine.

the non booting problem happens about 1-4 times every time its cold in my room, is it to do with the cold? lol. I actually cant seem to think what else it could be

psu, 2 months, motherboard 1 month, cpu 3 years, ram 2 months, ssd 4 months, 1tb hdd 3 months, gpu's 1.5 years.

It does all the bios messages everything is all sorted and fine, iv been running this same OC settings on my old p67 msi board (which I bricked the bios update 1 month ago so got a new z77 board). and this motherboard runs the OC spot on, everything is 100% stable primed for 48 hours. but when ever my room is really cold, it gets past the bios screen then it just like powers off, then powers its self back on after a few seconds then it seems fine. no error warnings, no bios error codes or warnings on the little like lcd screen. its literally as if my system just goes brr its cold, let me warm up for a second.

once its got a little bit of temperature or the rooms got temperature, everythings fine

Edit: could it be anything to do with a virus on my operating system or something that's messing up the windows boot? even though if it was you would have thought it would do it every time. oh also edit 2, my pc desk used to be in a slightly warmer place, but now my pc is right up against a brick wall almost, its the coldest part of the room, id say touching the wall its probably about 10c or so, because the wall is the gable end of the house outside and im up on the top of a hill on the moors, so wind is always blowing across that wall outside, which makes it really cold in this room which is why I use my pc in here to keep my system cold and to warm this room up lol

Back the OC off a bit on the CPU, if a chip is OC'ed its life it starts to brake down and use more volts to run stable. if its been over clocked for 3 years i would think it will be getting to the end of its overclocked life.

try no over clock at all for a few day and see if you get any problems
