Booting problems

First off my pc specs.
AMD 3500+ sk939
Asus A8N-E motherboard
HIS iTurbo x700 Pro pci-e
Akasa paxpower 460w psu
120gb 7200 ide
160gb 7200 ide

Ok so the problem my pc will load fine will get the the scrolling bar in windows booting up then randomly the screen will go back and the computer restarts again. I have tried disconnecting all unneeded hardware just using the boot drive and 1 stick of ram etc all pci devices removed and its still happening.

At first he pc just didnt boot at all so i tested the hdd's in a friends pc and they are fine. I'm totally clueless as to what is wrong can you guys give me some ideas as to what it could be.

Can you get into safe mode? Tap F8 before it gets to the Windows scrolling screen if you didn't know

Thanks for the help. It was windows which had become corrupt or something. Anyways no biggie just reinstalled because its just a separate partition anyway so nothing lost.
