I want to be able to boot into an Ubuntu installation on a USB stick on my MBP, but am having a few probs with it. I've followed the instructions from the USB/Mac options here: http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download and the image seems to be successfully copied to the USB stick, but the MBP doesn't seem to want to boot from USB - either from Startup Manager or restarting and holding alt.
Anyone done this and have any tips?
I also tried getting a Linux geek at work to create the USB stick with Linux on it, but the same thing happens.
