Hi guys,

Trying to get my old PC up and running, which I haven't used for 2 years, to pass on to someone.

Everything seems to boot up, but I don't get any display on my monitor. CPU fan, and GPU both run. Everything is connected properly. I'm currently resetting the CMOS, to see if that helps.

Do you have any tips or suggestions?

Appreciate any help. Thanks

Out of range due to different monitor?

Does it have an IGPU and a Dedicated GPU?

Try pressing F6 and choosing Low GPU mode (or words to that effect).

Yes, both integrated and a dedicated GPU. Mobo: ASRock G31M-GS, GPU: 9800gt

Nothing appears on the monitor, so no out of range messages, as of yet.

I'll try testing with integrated, and testing using the old monitor and VGA cable, rather than DVI with new monitor.

Tried to boot through integrated GPU but same result. The keyboard isn't being picked up it seems either, so pressing keys is useless.

Seems like the mobo is dead?

Any other suggestions?
