Booting up my computer

Whenever I boot up my computer it hangs on the screen where it says "press delete to enter setup" for about 2minutes. It then hangs on the next screen for about a minute and finally loads up windows. It also used to make a beep whenever I booted up my computer, but it doesnt anymore. This happened when after I removed one of my HDD's and reformatted the other for a fresh installation of windows. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? or how I could fix it?

Can you post your full spec please.. Have you changed memory or any memory settings recently?

So you only have one HD now.? It seems like it looking for the OS. :confused:

My first call would be to clear the CMOS and run on default settings. Check that the HD containing the OS is on your primary drive and is the first boot device.

See what happens.
