booting up prob

got a asus mobo i bought on ebay
installed all the hardware has before
when it boots up ,wont let me go to bios
get this error saying cmos sumcheck bad
also
usb device over current detected
i moved the jumper and battery and rebooted and still the same
i disconnected all usbs and still the same
any ideas

Have you tried a different cmos battery? It may be flat.

yea change the cmos battery

Was the board sold as untested or spares? Have you gone into the bios and set the date correct? After a bios reset date will be wrong and this should be changed. Then save and restart.

just got it going
had to remove the battery,move the cmos jumper to clear and hold the power button for 2 mins and the rebooted into bios
havent changed anything in bios as wasnt able to get in
