Booting without...

I boot without..
CMOS in correct position.
Battery out of mobo.
RAM in wrong slots (only way it works)

Does it matter?

I put CMOS jumper over pins 1/2 to reset, but forgot to put jumper back on 2/3.
I pulled Battery out and forgot to put it back in.
I put ram in slots 3/4 instead of 1/3 or 2/4.

Did the machine boot or not?

Why don't you put them back to how it;s meant to be and see?

Yep, it booted fine and put them back and still fine.
