Ive had the windows vista on one partition, and win 7 beta on the other partition.

I upgraded the vista partiton to the RC and formatted the other partiton(before I done that installed win7 beta on it) as I no longer wanted to dual boot.

Now the problem I have is each time I boot up iam asked what to boot into, but each option is for windows 7. I want to be able to boot normally again with using just one OS-as iam going to install the RTM and wont be dual booting. But I guess if I install the RTM iam still going to be faced with this problem of my PC still thinking there are X2 OS'

Can anyone help me out? Iam abit confused with what I need to do-I think its something to do with the bootloader?

Thanks all:)

should have formatted the other partition first & created new partitions before installing W7.

Best option now would be to reinstall W7, but this time format the partition, best option would be to delete the partition and create a new one.

Ok yeah, will just delete both partions. Then create X2 new ones again, then install win7 as normal on C drive and leave the second partiton blank for future use.

Doing that will get rid of the bootloader problem-is it called bootloader?
