press ctrl+alt+del to restart.

I'm getting this when I start up. This is after setting my hard disk as "active" in disk management.

There's only one physical disk installed on my PC. It's partitioned into the 100mb system partition and the rest is one partition with OS (win 7 64 bit) and data on.

I've tried to recover the situation through using my windows dvd. That brings an error saying that the version of windows isn't compatible. Very useful. This is the disk windows was installed from...

Any ideas about what I can do next?
