I have turned on my computer and got this message. Unfortunately I dont have the VISTA install disk on me at work.

Anyone know of a way to fix this without the disk or am I going to have to travel home to get it?

Oh yeah and the computer doesnt have a DVD drive installed so that would be another reason to do without disk :D

Question two, if I do need the install disk can I make a usb version to fix it or will i need to install a CD/DVD drive.

Thanks!

Ok since no one has answered.

Does anyone know if I put VISTA onto a 16g usb drive does it matter if there are other things on the usb stick or does it have to be blank?

Thank

I'd say it's best to have it blank purely for simplicity although i've never actually done it by a USB drive.
