Hi, I recently tried a fresh install of Windows XP for a friend but used Windows 7 to format the disk first via my PC.
Now when I try to boot from CD it says "BOOTMGR MISSING" press escape to reboot or something along those lines.
I understand I got the error because I should have used an XP system to format the disk in the first place but how do I fix it now ?
I also have the problem that the disk I'm trying to do the install on has been labelled "D" so now whenever that drive is connected I lose my CD drive on the "my computer" screen.
Can anyone please help me sort out this mess ?
Cheers in advance
