Bootup GFX X1900

I'm not sure if other X1900 master card owners get this but when I boot up my system, once the windows screen has passed and before it gets to the "welcome" screen, my monitor goes funny.

Kinda like a really bad OC error with the card. Multi-coloured pixels all over the screen for about a second. Then loads and finished windows normally.

It hasn't effected my performance yet (Not to my knowledge ). I've been playing FEAR, X2, X3, 3Dmark05/06 all perfectly fine and I must say that even if my performance isn't at its best its a world apart from my old system.


I was just wondering if anyone gets this error?

I get that too. In games it seems fine. I think its just the drivers kicking in, enabling crossfire.

Its normal, nothing to do with crossfire, I think its to do with the card changing clockspeeds, the 6.5 drivers will fix it.

Ive only got it since I set up crossfire though. I have a sapphire slave and a powercolor master.

People have been getting it with non crossfire setups too though. Its nothing to worry about.

i got it after installing 6.4 cats.
6.3 cats caused the mobo logo screen to change colours too. Both normal phenomena don't worry about it.

Oh phew Just doesn't seem normal and I really didn't want my shiny new X1900 to be duff (Has upgraded from an X700 pro)
