bootup problems on new 2600k

just finished my 2600k build.specs in sig.now i have a corsair force 3 ssd and have a clean install of windows 7 64bit .when i bootup it says boot mgr missing.the only way it will boot is to have the first bootup device in bios set to cdrom and have my windows install disk in the drive.as soon as i set it back in bios to first boot device hadr drive it says boot mgr missing.it's driving me mad.i tried startup repair on the windows disc and it said it found problems with my startup but it didn't fix it.any ideas please?you just might stop me heading to the nut house.cheers

When you installed Windows did you have the RAID setup? the installer may have done something dum like spread the install across different disks, you could try doing a re-install with just the SSD and the DVD drive attached.

hmmm.yes i had all disks attached.i'll try this, thanks
