Has anyone here been bored for a long period of time, like multiple days/weeks? I dont know why, but the last few days i find not much seems to intest me, so i end up day after day just waking up, doing a bit of OU course work (i study from home), watch a little TV, then have trouble passing time and just wishing the day would come to an end, all for it to start all over again the next day.

If anyone here has been in that sort of situation, where you just wish day after day that the day would just end because of bordem, can you please tell me what you did to overcome it, because this is just starting to wear me down now and im not sure what i can do at home to try and get rid of my bordem.

Yeah, although it's usually down to laziness and not an actual lack of things to do, there is always something you can be doing, learn something new if you're completely stuck, take up a hobby, better yourself.

Well i do plan to bettery myself by doing some fitness, like using my rowing machine more often and doing a exercise routine, But there is only so much my bdoy can do in 1 day, and i have a ton of free time, too much to fill up with just exercise :/

I never expected that i would actully HATE having free time, its driving me nuts.

Getting a job is not an option right now, so no more suggsetions for it please. Learning the guitar is a good suggestion, i may try that as i already have access to a guitar i can use. Ill give it a try and see if it can help solve my bordem.

Take up a hobby of some kind, photography keeps me from being bored, if i've nothing to do I just start taking photos of random stuff.

Anything that you can just pick up and go for a little while should do the trick.

I think if you are bored then you really have time to get a job, or at least a part time job. Because if you do have a job, I assure you that you will appreciate sitting at home doing nothing for a couple of hours.

Recently parted company with the missus, in doing so have found myself with a LOT of free time so...

-getting out on the bike
-squash/badminton
-DIY
-learning guitar
-bought a 360, playing through Gears of War
-proper cooking, instead of quick meals

I actually struggle to find free time now, it's doing my body good, learning new stuff and giving locusts a beat down - bonus. Just need to get off your butt and stop moping about, find something you want/need to do and do it. You're your own worst enemy in this situation, don't let it get the better of you.
