the best one for snipering looks like Zer0, he uses a melee Ninja sword too, he's an updated version of Hunter, this one will be great on full level up, when you're replaying your favourite levels, just like Hunter is now.

but i dont think you get the Detonating Cobra or the Maliwan Volcano any more

i remember using the Sword in Fallout 3..... brilliant fun, so i think it'll be cool to use this rather than guns all the time, mind you, it doesn't really matter who you play because you'll still find sniper rifles in the boxes and even Brick was still great with the sniper rifle wasn't he !

Bruce Lee...hell yea' :D....rock on Tommy, i'll have the sword please !

I dunno, he looks like fun. But I'm not feeling it with the rest of the classes.

Seems like the soldier is no different - a turret, wow yeah I really want to play that (/sarcasm).
Phaselock looks interesting, but I don't think it will match up to phasewalk in utility.
Ok the "gunzerker" looks like it will be fun, although I was never much of a fan of playing Brick.

So I dunno, none of them look particularly exciting, although I would agree that zero looks the most unique.

yes exactly, the others look boring, gunzerker is too much like Brick, Zer0 has the greatest variety...... because you have to pick the right guy before you start the game

Where in that video does it mention Bruce Lee and how does the character in any way shape or form seem inspired by him? He isn't even human, so random lol.

He looks good, shame every kid will be playing him, and he has an incredibly boring name too, there are more Zero's in video gaming than there are Dave's in reality.

"Be Like Water"

Famous Bruce Lee quote.

yea thank God i dont game online :D

i wish they had that Victorian game hunter that you saw in the ``Jackobs``posters in the first game, but i think he died on the Zombie island :D

it'll be a good game for sure, plus it has no bugs

My brain is a little slow today, can't tell if you're serious or being funny.

Look I'm not knocking any of the classes, I'm sure they'll all play well. But compared to the 4 classes in the original I would have thought things could be a little more different - for instance giving them a choice of 3 skills instead of one core skill each.
Say for example having phaselock, phasewalk, and one other "magic" skill all on the siren, and having to choose where to distribute points so you can use up to three different skills but have to ultimately focus on one or two of them.

The trouble is it cant be that much different, because it's on the same planet and still features the claptraps, so it can only vary slightly... i.e new guns/ AI.... well what !

This game might feel like an Expansion or a DLC.....because Pandora is a pretty boring planet, even with snow and a few green fields, as for their individual skill sets, yes they seem Krap to me as well, especially dual weilding guns and turret deploy..... seen it all before, thus the best one is a sniper that can weild a sword, rather than throw a bird of prey in the air !

Borderlands 2 will be funny and quirky etc, but only in certain areas, the rest of the game might be repetative.

why is it similar ? because they wanted to get the game out quick, plus much of this might not have been used in the 1st game.

i think it'll be great but watch out, because it could be one game too many on Pandora

^Yeah I see what you mean.

In the end the focus is all on the loot (weapons) anyway which is a bit of a shame, rather than on making a unique character for yourself.

What I'd love is if you could have the diversity of classes and characters from Mass Effect 3 multiplayer (for all its faults the classes and powers were the best part) - but limit it to a choice of say 6 characters each with a choice of 3 powers so they can be expanded on, and then the loot and expansive world of borderlands.

the problem with Borderlands is, you see the bandits at range and all you can do is attack, there isn't much variation in tactics like in Deux Ex, only really in ``Sledges safehouse``.... the rest of the time they spot you instantly as you get close, it's like this all the way through, you cant sneak past them using a cloak/ plant proximity mines etc, it's not tactical like Deux ex or FEAR.... where ever you go to do a task there's always the same bandits waiting...and you always see them at range first, you'll see two walking around, a stunted lunatic and a few more inside those tents, it's very predictable..

i think Borderlands 2 will be ok, but watch out for these things, because when you get the Knox DLC the game is starting to get quite boring, you get fed up with seeing so much desert/ mountains.... flipping sand, sand everywhere, if it isn't sand then it's scrap metal/ car tyres etc.

just lol at you

yea well, i'll give you a very good example of what i mean ;) i can guarantee you that the next FUTURE SOLDIER 2 will be a buggy pile of Krap just like all GRAW games....:D

in contradiction, BORDERLANDS 2 is the same game/ same engine as the 1st and has been finished for quite some time, it's therefore fair to assume that it'll be bug free, because the 1st game was excellent for this ! :D
