Borderlands 2

Hello there,

Borderlands 2 is nigh and the hunt for the vault begins once more. I must admit I didn't expect much from borderlands 1, it seemed to promise a lot but I was sceptical, anyway a few of my friends got it so i decided to join them buying it on release day. For the next month my attendance to social events dropped by about 90%. I was instantly hooked on the game, it delivered all the promises it made and more. the game was funny with a great (although cliché) storyline. The most important part was that it was fun to play. It was so different from any other game and is by far the most fun I have ever had in any game.

So onto borderlands 2. New characters, even more guns and a new storyline. I cannot wait.

I am intrigued to find out what others thought of Borderlands and if any of you are as exited as me. I desperately want the game to do well, they put real effort into the games and i really want them to succeed with borderlands 2.

anyway I would love to hear your thoughts on the game such as which characters you intend to play, features you want to see etc.

i will admit the game did have its flaws and had fairly predictable storyline, but looking past these flaws i thought its over qualities shined through, i thought the DLC was worthwhile especially "the secret armoury", the cheating and hacking was a bit ridiculous aswell but i thought it added some fun to the game like when a friend would come in with some heavily modded rocket launcher which would lower your fps to about 1 frame a second but it was all part of the fun, Just out of interest what games are you currently playing/looking forward to?

Very true, the elevator up to crawmerax became all too familiar

is anyone thinking of pre-ordering? I think you get some extra gearbox guns straight away which gives you a bit of a head start
