Borderlands 4 (2025)

amon is the last character i'm getting to max level at the moment, but I think forza will cut that short for now
I did rafa first, the cap was 50 at the time and he had pretty good one shot potential and very good mobbing
harlowe was next, with the shock dart class mod she's great for mobbing and for bossing
cash is completely broken and can drain a boss health bar faster than the animation moves (with broken wings), and with darkbeast the mobbing is braindead
I went for bleed vex, its pretty good but the bleed is not as strong as touted, and mobbing is quite slow, using a torgue shalashashka for ricochets
if I come back for more after amon I think I will play red tree cash or make a ricochet rafa
 
I had 2 crashes in 340 hours, most of that was playing with 16gb of ram only and it wasn't bad tbh
48gb now and it is noticably better but I don't think the optimisation is really bad

I dunno it’s hard to pinpoint. I think going open world really harmed how the game plays. Also all those icons on the map are…yeesh, feels like busy work sometimes. Accepting side quests should automatically make them current too.

I think the semi open world worked better of the previous titles.

I think the art style could be a bit more... traditional borderlands too
I remember looking at borderlands 2 screenshots on the steam store page and thinking, if only it just looked like this. And they went off in a completely different direction
 
Has anyone else had issue with getting "stuck" in the scenery? Recently I've been getting stuck whilst playing co-op every now and then.

This never used to be an issue and has just started happening recently, notably since I updated the NVidia drivers to 596.49. Wondering if anyone else has had anything similar, especially with these drivers?

There's a newer driver out, might be worth trying.

150hrs or so spent in game. Not noticed this issue. My.only real gripe is raid fights and the bloomin things leaving the bubble. Grr.
 
Might pick this up soon down into mid £20s. Wonder how my 3700X and GTX1660 will fair.
Very tempted to slap in a 9070XT, do a CPU upgrade next year.
