Does it matter what order you play these in?

I have finished the game on the first play through. I started playing the first DLC,The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, but I found this somehwat boring and I have started on the third DLC,The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.

Is it possible to complete the third DLC first, followed by Claptrap's New Robot Revolution and finally Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot??

My character is currently on level 41.

There is no strict order to it, but I believe that the way they were released has an increased min-max level for what you fight. For instance if you are on playthrough 2, I think the enemies in Dr NEDs max out in their mid 40's but Knoxx are a bit higher, so after completing 3 & 4, NEDs may be a bit to easy.

This may have changed since the last patch though and I think getting to playthrough 2.5 get raises the enemy level cap again if it is a problem.

On PT1.
You can do Ned fairly early on.
Knoxx you can't do till after you've completed the game really as they're too high level. At lvl41 it might be a bit easy.
Claptraps i'm not sure about but i think its another end-game 1.

On PT2.
Ned starts around lvl43 i think so you could probably head there now and have a challenge.
Knoxx won't be less than 50 so thats suicide.
Again, Claptrap i'm not sure.

On PT2.5, all enemies in the game become your level +1(2 for badass 3 for bosses) until you hit max. For some reason though this doesn't include Knoxx...
I'm not sure its been fixed but my lvl69 Brick will be up against ~lvl69 enemies in the normal game, Ned, Moxxi and Claptrap but in Knoxx all enemies are still way below me.

Moxxi it doesn't matter so much when you do it, though i'd advise trying to complete the 3 arena's (if you so desire) on PT1 when you feel you have the skills/gear to handle it alone since it gets you a free skill point. Trying for the full arena would be INCREDIBLY time consuming and on PT2 it can be quite hard to even finish the short ones.

Thanks for the replies! :)

I have tried Zed on the second walkthough and it is more challenging but I just don't find the DLC that interesting.

I will probably play through Knoxx on the first playthrough and see how far I level up and then try Moxxis.

Then I can blast through Zed in the second playthrough, followed by Knoxx and Claptraps and finally Moxxis.

Problem with the DLC is that they don't let you fast travel to any other area and it gets really annoying. Knoxx is definitely the worst when you have to drive bloody miles to get anywhere.
