Really want this game, and for ease of use I really want to get it off steam which is annoying as the GOTY edition on steam is 30 quid and off a certain popular etailer it is 12 quid.

Now also on steam there is the normal edition which is 20 quid.

Are the DLC really good and worth the extra 10 pounds?

DLC is definitely worth the extra £10, the only questionable 1 is Moxi but if you enjoy the matches its worth it for that too (they just go on forever unfortunately). More so given that the level cap increases by another 11 with Knoxx. The only problem is (last time i went on) that even though the rest of the game scales with your level for PT2.5, Knoxx doesn't for some reason.

Tbh you could probably get it off amazon or play or whever it was you saw it, then buy it on Steam during the next sale for even less than what you'd pay if you just bought it. Specially if you could sell the copy in the meantime (i don't recall it needing to be registered to anything).
If its £12 and i think it was 50% off in the last sale you might get it even cheaper next time. Depends really if you care about having it in Steam for the achievements.
