Hello all.

I have Photoshop CS3 but am very much a novice in using it. I see lots of stunning shots posted on here, some with borders..

Is there a simple action i can download and run to apply to my shots to create a border for them or will it differ from shot to shot depening on the size?

Thanks in advance.

sorry, in house joke.

im not sure about an action, you could probably set one up easily.
google will give you loads of ways to add boarders.

if you want a quick plain black/white boarder this is how i do it.

load your picture into ps, then go IMAGE, CANVAS SIZE. make sure the RELATIVE box is ticked, i set the value to pixels normally but you can use cm, inch, what ever you want.
input a number in the width and height, choose a colour, for plain colours click on the little box colour were is says CANVAS EXTENSION COLOUR, then set the colour pallete to ONLY WEB COLOURS. this isn't essential but helps if you want plain colours.
then just press ok.

Thankyou, this is exactly what i wanted. Another dumb question but how do i save this action so that i can apply it to multiple photos?
