Bored, looking for a Demigod/Diablo/Sims type game

not all together of course, ive played through the above games several times.. (well not sims 3 and all the expansions because you cant exactly finish that game)

but im looking for something new to keep me entertained till FFXIV is out, i've played Torchlight through, Demigod was quite fun but totally repetitive, ive also played most of your other diablo type games like Sacred etc.

Any suggestions?

Demigod is a DotA look-a-like is it not? Try Heroes of Newerth, League of Legends or even Defence of the Ancients. From what I can tell the communities are made up of whining children.

mmm Demigod is like DotA, i like those types of games, but dont have the time for online play and like you say the whiney children

Join in with the OcUKers playing LoL, usually especially busy on Sundays on the mumble server.

Not sure how you can not have time to play the odd game online compared to grindy clickfests like Diablo etc

Thought of playing something like Dragon Age? I really enjoyed Diablo 2 and Torchlight, I have Titan Quest too and I really enjoy Dragon Age. Might be worth a look?

Definately. I'm playing through Dragon Age again. I never finished it the first time, but it is very good.

Its much closer to Baldurs Gate / Planescape Torment type gamestyle, but without the annoying spell memorisation. Spells and Abilities are obtained through skill trees and are powered using Mana or Stamina bars.

I think that Spellforce 1 and 2 might be something for you.
The pace is quite moderate, and I find it comes across as a very good mix of an RTS, Diablo, and the Settlers game principle. Quite unique, and very good fun.
Those two games deserved much more than the mediocre reviews they received, but then again this is a typical game that can only be judged fairly if you spend more than a few minutes with it.
They're quite cheap now, as well.

Go oldschool and play Baldurs gate 2. Truly one of the greatest games of our time.
