Bored of my Xbox360

If your bored of your 360 and current games i think you must be bored of gaming in total.
No other format imo has had such quality games over the past few months as the 360 has.

Got to say, I totally agree. Microsoft have done an amazing job getting class A titles out so quickly.

I dont want to start a argument as I know its down to opinion at the end of the day, but theres lots of posts seriously praising the games out at the moment and I was majorly dissapointed with them.

I found pgr3 to be a step backwards after pgr2, the variety of cars was rubbish, you can have a car that does 180+ or a car that does 180+ or a car that does 180+, what happened to all the muscle cars, mr2's and mini's for cat and mouse.
The graphics I found poor, textures popping out of no-where, I know theres a debate about graphics making games but if you wanted average graphics you wouldnt be paying £200+ for the machine.

I also found call of duty 2 a let down because of poor mp, textures that scroll out visably as you move, I didnt get into Kameo at all, Need For Speed I found unplayable because of the hitching backgrounds that made me fell sick and Fifa crawls along in pace at times.
The only game I can honestly say I liked was Fight Night and I normally dont like boxing games, they just got everything right with that one, anyway thats just my opinion, I know plenty will disagree :p

What makes his opinion any less valid than yours?

Everyone is different, and a wise person would respect that and see the reason for this variety in opinions.

I've basically given up on PC gaming since getting my 360. His opinion is perfectly valid and rings true for him and many other people.

I'm having much more fun playing on the 360 offline or over Live! than I've had for a very long time on my PC.

That's what it's all about, doing what's fun for you...

I do agree with that, it was a step back, but it wasn't a BAD game, infact, it is brilliant still, just a lack of cars and cities let it down. However, there are great games on the Xbox360.

Call of Duty 2 - Most fulfilling SP game I've played since Max Payne 2
Ghost Recon - Excellent shooter with great environments and colour tones, atmospheric and thoroughly enjoyable.
Fight Night - Amazing graphics, great gameplay (in Single player, Multiplayer or over Live!). Could do with more fighters, but the best boxing game ever, by a mile.
Burnout Revenge - I've not had this much fun in a driving game since PGR2, it's fast, it's ludicrous and it's amazing in SP and Live!
Condemned - Seriously atmospheric, good story and graphics are top notch. Eerily good.
Perfect Dark Zero - A little dull in SP, Co-Op and Live! multiplayer are excellent though
Oblivion - Massive environments, great graphics and audio, immersive in the very essence of the word. So much to do.
Dead or Alive 4 - Far better than Dead or Alive 3, almost as good as Dead or Alive 2. Great fighter with lots of coutners, combo's and throws. Button bashers need not apply.

And thats just after 4 months!

And there are currently PC games that interest you? If so, which, because nothing decent has been released since FEAR and Quake 4 (if you call those decent).

Most of us were, I guess more than a decade of building and clocking has made seamless console fun off the shelf more appealing to me.

Was mad for PGR 3 but i have overplayed it so im having a break. Not really keen on FPS because I played COD to death on the PC. Interested in Blazing angels but the lack of cockpit view puts me off.

Iv no doubt there will be some must have games for me in the future but right now im enjoying the 360 as a very useful wireless media centre extender/ jukebox. Cant wait for Moto GP 2006. I wont ever sell my console

I bought a Core Xbox 360 about 5 weeks ago along with a memory card, Offical headset & Offical RGB scart lead. And the otherweek a Hard-drive which was very hard to find. ATM none of the games that are out or are coming out intrest me, still only got PGR3.

So I was thinking about selling it and putting the money towards doing my PC up abit. So do you think it worth me selling it or keeping hold of it.

Haven't you even tried NFS:MW? Everyone who i have spoke loves that, great game.

I can honestly say ive not had so much fun on gaming for ages than i have on my 360, pop the tray open put the dvd in and off u go no crap to contend with like u get on pc's.

I doubt ill ever go back too pc gaming now glad to see the back of the overpriced hardware and the fact you buy a card for £300 example and 6 months later its struggling with games.

Pretty much answered it yourself! Have another look at the release schedule and if theres noting coming out in the next month or two you might as well get shot of it as they make rather expensive paper weights.

Not having a go but why did you buy one if there was nothing that interested you on it  :p

EDIT- I should learn to read the thread :p Probably a good idea to trade it although I wonder what games your going to be playing on that new GFX card  :p

If I were you, I'd seriously consider buying Elder Scrolls 4, it might light a fire for you. It is by far the crowning achievement of the 360 so far imo. However, if you don't have a HDTV or a good SD with a RGB lead but have a high end PC then I can understand your situation.

Personally I would downgrade a high end PC and put the extra cash towards a decent HDTV and just use the PC for browsing the web.
