Bored on a Sunday Afternoon: Downtown Akron

So I was bored this afternoon and I decided to drive around with my camera. I ended up in downtown Akron and took a few decent shots. I'm not much of a photographer and I haven't much of an eye for good photos. The camera I used is a piece of crap autofocus Kodak EasyShare. I haven't Photoshop or the Gimp so these are not edited in any way except for a little cropping and so forth in Picasa2. Tell me what you think.
The blue rock-candy looking object is a Dale Chihuly sculpture of polyethylene.

Care to critique what you see? Care to offer any pointers to people like me who have poor equipment and no skill?

The biggest tip I can offer is that a photo looks better at 800x600 than it does at that resolution.
