So i have sorted all bugs and problems that i and other friends have found on my site (most of them sorted thanks to some of you chaps, especially Rob and Beansprout!), i would appreciate if anyone could have a look over at:

http://richl.com/

And let me know if they come across and problems with the site or with compatibility with their browser. I have tested it with IE and FF and it displays slightly different in FF but still looks as it should..(e.g. for some reason in FF the search box at the top stretches its height...no idea why)...

Its all basically under development and testing at the moment so there isnt much content etc, that will all be added after i have ensured everything runs as it should.

Thanks :)

That is a very interesting site you have there. Lovely desktop/window concept, something that you don't see often (if at all) so you'll make an impression on visitors thats for sure.

I don't have time to have a good look over, but it looks very tight and all in working order in IE6.

The only thing is, is that it doesn't quite fit in at 800px width. Which can be a bit annoying for those still using that resolution (and there is a fair few left)

A bit of trimming here and there from the main menu should take care of that though.

Good work. :)

I was thinking the same thing about the width, you've pretty much confirmed that i need to do something about it. A little off the menu and a tad off the main window...may also decrease the spacing between them, and that will be that. Cheers for that. :)

Thanks for your kind words aswell, if anyone else is interested it is based on Joomla (http://joomla.org) and the template is from mambocurve (mambocurve.com) but is quite heavily modified to suit my needs as i felt the original wasn't as tight as it could have been. It also had pointless things like changing the theme to slightly different styles and having pointless hidden DIVs popping up all over the place!

Im really chuffed with your comments by the way, i know its not perfect but i have been working on it over the past few weeks and to hear that is brilliant :) :D
