Does anyone know where i can get one of these from for less than £40 in the UK?? I've only found one shop online that actually sells them in the UK. Or something similar would be nice.

Yeah i do apologise for askin people do they know anyone else who sells this...I should have said if anyone knows please can you message me privately.

I did Hijack someone elses thread asking about this ....if you read on you will see my problems and the Zalman cooler you mentioned might be a bit of a problem.

You see this is the fan thats on there now

I’ve been in touch with gigabyte and they haven't been much help...The cooler itself is just so loud and Intolerable to listen too 24/7. I can't even put a different cooler on because there is no room the graphics card is in the way.

As you can see there with the Zalman heatpipe on the graphics card, it rest on the top of the cooler with about 1mm to spare. What i need is a Northbridge cooler which is about half an inch in height or it would hit the heatpipe on the Zalman.

If you look at this picture, which was taken before the installation of the heatpipe...you get a better view of the cooler itself underneath the graphics card.

Someone did actually tell me to buy the Zalman passive cooler and bend the fins back but I just feel a bit weary on bending the fins just in case they snap.

checked the manufacturers website, for the borg and there is only one supplier in the UK... you can by direct from the manufacturer but not sure how much delivery will be

You can actually snap the Zalman fins off. Thats what ive doen, ive had to remove about 3 fins for my GPU to sit through the heatsink, and I have no heat problems. I can maybe see it being a slightly bigger problem with that massive heatpipe cooler you have on the gpu. However if you replace it with something like the vf900, its should work fine.

I have similar issues with the DFI Ultra D. The GFX card sits over the top of the northbridge and so the Zalman is out of the question - though I did see some one fit the zalman with a centre parting.

I can't find the picture unfortunately..

Put the gfx in the lower slot, its just below it then
