At the moment I have a Sony T7 and tbh it has been junk since the day I bought it

Looking for something to use for holidays and general stuff

Must be easy to use, good indoors and compact as I don't want anything
bulky

any suggestions ?

Ta :)

I currently like the Canon S90 IS, lovely and very capable camera. Others will likely recommend virtually any panasonic model (and it's not a bad bet actually, most panasonic and canon models are great providing you aren't buying at the absolute budget end...)

looks good, may be a bit bulkier than I am looking for ( 32mm ) and really was looking at £150-200 unless that budget is not realistic ?

the Fujifilm F70EXR seems to get good reviews

The TZ7 is just about in your price range now, again, excellent and very well regarded but maybe a bit big. I'm not really up to date on the tiny compact camera market these days...I recall Fuji in my experience being a bit of a pain but that was a while back.

Thanks

One of my early digi cameras was a Fuji , F601 I think and was good

That T27 looks nice too but again a bit too bulky I think

Seeing as my post was deleted, I'll simply recommend considering the Ricoh CX2.

It may be too big for you, though it fits in my pocket fine and is smaller than I expected.

The zoom (10.7x) is pretty awesome and the image quality is up there. Awesome Macro ability too for a compact.

How much are you looking to spend?

sent it to trust email via the trust system

anyway sorted now

thanks for your help folks

bought a Panasonic FX60, genuine case, spare battery and 8Gb card for £188 which seems good :)

I'm looking at the S90 at the moment given I just broke my S80 last month :( stupid sliding shutter doesn't like pockets!

I've read that the IQ is excellent for a compact, maybe not quite as good as the S80 but is physically a lot smaller. Downsides are that the smallness makes it hard to grip and the rear wheel is easily adjusted by accident which changes the camera settings. I'm still undecided... looks a nice compact though.

Ahhh, that email address is about a decade old. Updated now.

Good deal that, considering some places are asking £200 for the camera alone. Please tell me you didn't get it in that light blue colour though... :P
