I can't pull it out at the moment and trying to see if I can fix the issue.

I started a short wash and the lights were on plus it started to make noise. Had a quick look and it seems to be stuck, no movement or power when I move the dials.

Any idea on how I can manually release?

Will have to call the landlord but want to see if I can at least get the things out. There is no water in there and can't see a model number to hand.

At the bottom right of the machine, there should be a small flap where you access the filter. When you open this, there should be what looks like a red strip of plastic that you can pull down on to open the door.

When the door opens, you should be able to see the machine's details on a sticker.

Never heard of this? Thought the flap was to empty the water in the drum via the hose and to clean the filter only.

Ok thanks, just found the socket so just unplugged.

@darael - Can't seem to see that. :(

All the Bosch machines I've encountered have a plastic sort of pull cord that you pull down on. It looks like it could be the part of the top right of that picture. It looks as though you need to put a flat bladed screwdriver in the hole of the black plastic, allowing you to pull down on it and open the door.

If you can take another picture square on and perhaps another concentrating on the top right.

Yeah, that's the door release catch. Put a screwdriver in the black plastic strip, pull down and pull your door open. Some videos I've seen say that you might need to jiggle it around or to pull down quite hard on it, so you may have a little bit of a struggle at first.
