I'm looking at some Bose Companion 2 Series II Desktop Speakers,
I've had bose speakers in the past but not pc speakers, they are around 100 pounds is there better speakers for the price, like them just being shoddy speakers with a bose badge?
Are the creative gigaworks alright? I'm looking at the set with the two cones forgot what model number it is

but yeah some pc speakers recommendations please
 
They suck harder than a soho hooker. Honestly never ever ever ever consider BOSE speakers. the phrase 'Buy Other Sound Equipment', and 'no highs, no lows, must be BOSE' really do ring true. Not the worst speakers in the world, but made using crap designs poor parts, especially structurally weak cabinets, paper cones straight from the 70s and just awful pricing. You are paying for their marketing and advertisements.

For 100 check out the aego 2.1 system or think about second hand amplifier and hi-fi speakers.
 
Might be worth you looking for 2nd hand speakers like some monitor audio B2/B1 or B4.

...I have the B4s and they sound amazing they are about £350 new but a newer model is out and i have seen some go for around £150 :eek:
