Bose Wave Ipod Dock

I bought a shiney new Bose system and recieved an Ipod dock for free. I ahve bene using it with my ipod touch 3rd gen for a month or two no problems. Now I have noticed it has stopped charging the ipod and sound is terrible.

I rung Bose and they said it is because the Touch is not compatible. But should work but just wont charge.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm inclined to think there's something wrong with the dock as it was working/charging perfectly previously but now is not.

Anyone?

Yes fully updated. Matter now resolved, dock is faulty and bsoe replacing! Cannot seem to close thread though!

Bought the Bose Wave System with Dab module. Camr with free dock at the time. Current freebie are a pair fo headphones.
