Hi All
Travelling to boston next week for a 2 day business trip. I expect to have the evening free. Any recommendations on what to see ? shop and eat ?

Thank you

If you visit Harvard, don’t touch the blokes shoe like all the tourists do. It’s covered in pee

Sights; Freedom trail is good - I made it as far as the USS Constitution then turned back (it was too warm)

Food; Barking Crab for either Lobster or Crab. I recommend the King Crab.

Shopping; don't bother

Beer; pretty good selection of pubs and bars within the city centre, most of them with local craft beers available if you're not into Coors Light.

It’s not the most interesting city but The Daily Catch in the Italian neighbourhood is a stunning restaurant - you might need to wait a while but it’s very much worth it.... I was there only last week

Read this and thought to myself, why on earth would anyone engage in business in Boston, Lincolnshire? A hub for crime, drugs and inbreeding.

I was relived to have clarity later on in the thread....

Pleased it wasn't just me then.

Sat here thinking who the hell goes to Boston and has clam chowder. Sausage roll from Gregg's maybe.
