What is the best way to mount a bottom mounted PSU.
1, fan down so it pulls cold air from outside(as i have it now)
2, fan up to help pul hot air off the GFX card(as have been told to)

My GFX = BFG 8800 GTS OC2 the cooler as holes in it so it dose blow some hot air outside and some down to the bottom inside the case

If there is a dust filter and slots for the psu fan to suck air through then face it down.

if not, face it up.

it as a dust filter and slot, i have allays had it facing down, but today a friend noticed it and told me i should be facing up have help keep gfx cool

+1

The issue with "2)." is that the PSU will not be drawing any cool air in to cool itself, thus reducing its life span and making it more liable to fail.

If there is a measurable difference between the bottom of the case and the floor, and assuming there is a filter at the bottom of your case, face the PSU so the fan is pointing downwards. Otherwise, it would probably be best to mount the PSU so the fan is pointing upwards. Alternatively, you could just test the PSU with the fan pointing downwards as well as upwards and see which way the PSU runs coolest.

Though, I know when I had my Corsair HX620, I initially had the PSU so the fan was pointing towards the floor. Even though there was a filter at the bottom of my case, because there wasn't a large enough gap between the bottom of my case and the floor, the PSU got incredibly hot. When I mounted the PSU so the fan was pointing upwards, it was running much cooler.
