Hey guys, just a quicky if I upgraded my x800 gto2 with an xfx 8800gts 640mb would my 2gb ddr 400 ram and opteron 146 2.0ghz bottleneck it?

Out of interest what stepping is that opty 146?

If its a CABYE 0540 then 3ghz is easily achievable.

2.4ghz on stock cooler.

I dont think you will have that much of a problem with the Opteron and a GTS, and you should be able to use the stock HSF for some light overclocking too.
