Hi chaps

I have an fx 4100 and a gtx 660 in my secondary rig

Would the cpu bottleneck the 660?

If so would an overclock help it out?

My old 955be give out so im currently installing win 7 with the new fx 4100

Instal is allmost over but it will be a couple of hours before i can download a game from steam (crap internet )

At stock it'll bottleneck.
The FX4100 has always and will always be very mediocre.

Overclocked, you'll elevate it, but there will always be games which bottleneck (But that not always a problem)

Compared to my old 955be, what are the two chips like if you placed them side by side mate?

Well, the FX4300 and Phenom II X4 955 trade blows depending on the situation, I'd have to say the FX4100 is slower than the Phenom II X4 955, amount will depend on the situation.

Tested metro 2033 on high settings with my gtx 660

Its actually not bad at all

a lot better than i was expecting

Got it oc'd at 4.5ghz

Very suprised lol
