Hi all,

Quick question and hopefully a quick answer.
I was talking to a friend in work and he put the query in my head.
Will my i5 750 @ 3.8GHz bottleneck my GTX 570 SLI setup?

Since that same friend just recently got a Sandybridge setup I'm wondering if I'm just looking for an excuse to upgrade too.

So is my i5 750 holding me back?

By the way I play at 1920*1200.

Id say no, if you were at stock then yes, it would be a problem. Ive noticed it on my own sli setup when ive had the cpu at stock.

I wouldn't think so, I had my Q9550 at 3.825gig for a long time and never felt like the CPU was a bottleneck and the i5 750 will be atleast as fast clock for clock.

The best way is to test whatever games you play, run them on stock then on your overclocked settings to see the difference, in my case bfbc2 showed a good improvement, (pretty cpu dependent game).
