Looks like a new graphics card is in order- thinking something like a 6950 or 6970, how much difference will I notice in game? The trusty old 9800GTX is starting to struggle now and I can't wait to get a new card. That card has been swapped countless times and I even found that a spring popped of a CPU cooler and had sat over solder joints for at least a week before I found it!

wouldn't class it as bottlenecking per se, the 9800GTX is ancient now.
go get a 460 or a 5850

Not bottlenecking in the broader sense of the term, but for gaming it is really showing it's age. It looks like I will be getting a Gigabyte overclocked 6950 or 6970 to review soon (I run a review site) but I will be looking to swap it for a reference one as I am doing a case mod and the reference coolers fit with my red and black colour scheme and also have that top shroud which I don't think these versions will. After that, SSD time
