Hi all, hope you can help.

I bought a new monitor yesterday, trying to maximise my screen size for gaming. I used to have 2 x 24” LCD Displays, as I was using the PC for gaming just as much as Dev work, I would then disable one screen and huddle to one side of the Desk… so, I decided to sell those and purchase a single 27” 144Hz monitor. That I bought from ocuk this week. It’s a iiyama ProLite GB2773HS.

Powered up, and its beautiful. The quality is so much better than my older iiyamas. Though also, it looks a little weird!

My face is sat about 20-25 inches away from the display, and I think I can see the pixels, well, more so little bits of grey round each pixel square of 2x2 pixels – mostly on dark colours. If I double the distance I think I can see it, but am not entirely sure, it could just be because I am aware that it is there.

Is this normal? I don’t think this monitor has a fault 2bh, but at the same time im a little concerned that I only noticed this since my new purchase.

Could be the "screen door effect" you're seeing there because of the larger pixels and pixel pitch from moving to a 27" 1920 x 1080 display from a 24" model with the same res. use it for a bit longer and I suspect you will soon forget about it :)
