Bought a bumper... issues

hey

Had a bumper arrive for my 172.

Some issues that I have with it but dunno what to do.

Paint work has specks that look like they are UNDER the base coat. These will need removal but how?

Cracked (I can ignore that as a splitter will cover it) and an odd dent on the front (looks like it was Very warm and lent against an object and then cooled to leave a tube like shape.. a hot pipe possibly?)

It was repaired and painted by the seller @ Gip Car Repairs.

Also the colour is off, Looks grey up against my car...

What do I do now? Was a private sale and i have sent him a projector as trade So cant exactly have him refund me.

Anyway, I don't think there's a lot you can do other than flog it on ebay and buy another?

Unfortunately it looks that way, however he was warned....lots of times.

OP just get it repaired and sprayed - that's all you can do with it. Fibreglass repair on the crack, bent back and bit of filler on the dent

Probably someone has hit a sign post at low speed (e.g. whilst parking), I've seen the same damage on bumpers before.
