Bought a ER5 1997

I picked this up for £850 and I think I did ok for that price.
The main thing I need is a used rack to mount my top box.

Any mods I should consider doing?

Looks good mate, very clean.

£850 excellent bike for that.

You know the main problem with that bike is that if you look after it, it'll probably last longer than you will.

I know your thinking, wait a minute, that's a bad thing??????

I am having trouble looking for a rack to fit on the bike for my top box.
The only one I have seen is this one.

It says for soft luggage and I read a few reviews on eBay that the metal snapped.
Not sure what to do.

Could always go for the quick release Givi system which are really well made, but only designed to mount their own range of boxes.

The Shad rack looks like a much stronger design than the Renntec but quite pricey.

Ide probably stick some crash bars on it & a rad protector as well, maybe a fender extender if you plan on commuting on it in all weathers.
