Bought a house, wanting to photoshop different wall papers onto walls?

Hi,

as the title suggests, we've just bought a new house and the mrs is having a difficult time deciding what wallpaper etc to go on what wall. I thought I'm sure I can do this with gimp, i'm failing badly at the moment

I can't seem to find anything on how to put a picture of x wall paper onto x wall, anyone got any ideas?

Photoshop will let you turn layers 3D, grab a trial and use that perhaps?

Look up tutorials for the vanishing point tool in photoshop, that will let you work on a 'plane' in the photos of your rooms to the wall paper image will be automatically distorted in the right perspective for the wall.
