Bought a LG 55C6V

i know it's last years model, but the picture quality is outstanding.

Currys had it reduced to £1500, but because I work for Sky I get an additional 8% off, so £1380 paid.

Looked around a fair bit, using Plex was a major factor in the make I bought, I use a 3rd party app which plays 4K mkv files perfectly, so going with LG was pretty much of a stick on.

Anyone else got one, and let me know what they think?

Cool, was so close to getting one today but decided to go for the b6v instead. The only problem is that currys were out of stock everywhere except Southampton so need to drive 50 miles to get it.

Got it set up now mate.

God the picture is outstanding playing my 4K mkv files from plex!

Sky Q really shines as well compared to my older 4K LG 49 something TV.

Use 'XPlay', it's far better than the native Plex app.

Then you're good to go! I love, absolutely love my B6, once you have loaded on the apps you need it almost makes a dedicated HTPC redundant. I've still got my HTPC but I'm seriously thinking about decommissioning it.

Does anyone else have trouble with ARC on these TV's? I bought a new HDMI cable and have my YSP 2700 soundbar connected direct to the TV from ARC out to ARC in, with the Sky box and PS4 connected to the soundbar. The sound won't play back at all through the soundbar and I can't figure out why. Any suggestions? Is it best to connect the devices through the TV or through the sound bar?
