Hi Guys, I have just purchased a new PC these are the following specs

Case: Antec 300 Gaming Case - Black
- Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W
- CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1090T Black Edition 3.20GHz overclocked to 4.00GHz
- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 AMD 890FX (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
- Cooler: Corsair H50 CPU Cooler
- RAM: Corsair Dominator 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
- Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 16MB cache
- Graphics Card: Sapphire HD 5870 1024 GDDR5
- Sound: 7.1 Channel Sound (On-Board)
- Optical Drive: LG DVD+/-RW SATA Drive

I went for price over performance but I hope that this system is no slouch.

I do however have one question, I would quite like to crossfire my 5870 with another one, but will my 600w cope? I am NOT an overclock nor am I a PC builder so I would need to pay someone to replace my PSU if that is the case though I hope it does not come to that.

Thanks guys and please give me your thoughts on my new system...

My old specs are as followed

Intel Quad Core Q6600 3.30ghz
Geforce 285
P5Q Deluxe Motherboad
2x2GB Corsair Dominator DDR2

sorry, by safety what do you mean? Could my components blow if not enough power is being sent? Surely PSUs of today have some safety features such as being able to shut its self down before it blows.

Got me a little worried about it now! lol

Well, wouldn't so much as blow up. But can malfunction, and can suffer permanent damage, or have a minor bang.
If too much power is being drawn from the power supply (more than it can handle) then it can go bang :p
