just bought a triumph spitfire, oh my god its such a gorgeous car, will post pictures later.
but my first thing i want to do with it is improve the brakes are hopeless, what is the best soloution? i've read most people change the discs for 9.5" . I want a quick and cost effective soloution. my brother suggested a good sports brake pad instead of stock.

i think a servo is the answer, the power in the brakes is there but the force required to get that is way too much i.e. leg hurting force. im used to classic car brakes from my dads 1970s corvette and they weren't nearly as bad as this.

anyway im picking it up after work tonight, im gettin so so excited, first time in a proper drive of it. i can't wait till 9pm so i can go get it.

weather is too crap at the moment, but heres pics the guy took.

has a lot of body problems i.e. rust but it should be easily fixed and its going for a respray in the winter.

im a much bigger fan of the wired wheels i.e. this one

but if you don't like the mini lites i'll swap ya! lol.

according to the triumph guys my brake problem is the pads and the plastic brake pipes, need to switch to braided steel to stop them bulging.

im utterly skint at the moment and the wheels are gonna be the last thing i do to it. need to get the body and various electrical bits sorted first.

it has front fog lights but no switch for them and im stumped as to how i find out if they work. guess a voltmeter and see if they connected to the lights circuit.
