Bought a WRT54G instead of a GL accidently, what have I lost?

I don't know wich version I have yet?
What would the effects be of less ram and is a 3rd party fw essential?
Would I notice it a lot?
Note: I'm mainly going to use wired only wireless for stuff like browsing.


EDIT please tell me asap I want to open it bu't if I'm going to return it I can't yet :(.
Is it worth it exchaning this thing for the GL?

EDIT2: Nvm I just opened it...
I doubt I'll be using 3rd party firmware anyhow, hope this suits my heavy p2p, gaming, and downloading usage.
